Covid-19 Vaccines

All permanent makeup appointment should be scheduled 14 days BEFORE or AFTER your Covid-19 vaccine. Your appointment will be rescheduled if it falls within the 14 days vaccine period. A rescheduling fee of $50+  HST applies for notification within 48 hours from original scheduled procedure appointment.

Qualifications

Are you a good candidate for permanent make up?

If any of the below applies to you, you are not a good candidate.

 

  • You must be over the age of 18. (It’s Ok if a parent or guardian signs for you)

  • You are a diabetic. (Ok if it is controlled)

  • You have blood borne communicable disease such as HIV or hepatitis.

  • You are pregnant/breastfeeding. (No governing body or medical organization forbids getting a tattoo if you're currently breastfeeding. Moreover, no research exists that provides negative evidence of breastfeeding and getting tattooed, please us your own discretion).

  • You have a major heart problem or you use a pacemaker.

  • You are undergoing a treatment such as chemotherapy. We are happy to take on clients after the treatments.

  • You have a severe skin condition, such as eczema (on the face), rashes, skin cancer, psoriasis.

  • You are pronged to getting extreme scarring or keloid skin type.

  • You are allergic or sensitive to any metals, lidocaine, or atopical numbing agents.

  • You take blood thinner on regular basis.

  • You have thyroid disorders.

  • You previously had episodes of epilepsy or seizures.

  • You have low level of iron or anemic.

  • You have uncontrolled blood pressure.

  • You have a weak immune system.

  • You are sick with flu or cold.

  • You are on Accutane in the last 12 months.

  • Eyelid surgery done in the last 12 months (For Eyeliner Clients)

  • You have monolids (For Eyeliner Clients)

 

Note: It is important that you communicate any medical conditions to the artist who will be performing the procedure for you. If you have any serious medical conditions, please consult with your family physician prior to proceeding with booking.

 

Appointment Preparation

Please be advised that not following pre-care information may impact your healing results.

  • No alcohol/caffeine consumption 48 hours prior to scheduled appointment. Alcohol consumption will increase your level of sensitivity to pain regardless of numbing application. It will also increase your likelihood of swelling post procedure. Caffeine, thins out the blood, and your eyebrows will bleed more.

  • Avoid sun and tanning one week prior to procedure.

  • Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin e or Advil/Ibuprofen 24 hours prior to procedure.

  • Stop taking Omega 3/fish oil 1 week prior to procedure.

  • No eyebrow waxing or tinting one week prior to procedure. (For Eyebrow Clients)

  • Refrain from using any Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products close to the eyebrow area two weeks prior to and two weeks after your procedure. Check your moisturizer, face wash,  BB or CC creams and makeup primers for anything that says acid.

  • Discontinue Glycolics, Chemical Peels and Retin-A 4 weeks prior.

  • No botox 2 weeks around the eyes and brows area.

  • Must be off Accutane for 1 year prior to scheduled appointment.

  • Please note that you will feel more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.

  • No Marijuana 72 hours prior to procedure.

  • For eyeliner clients
    - Eyelash extensions must be removed prior.
    - Avoid eyelash perm & tinting at least 4 weeks prior to the scheduled appointment.
    - Do not wear contact lenses to the appointment. Bring your glasses.

 

Cancellation or Rescheduling

There is no cancellation/rescheduling to appointments booked. Please ensure you double check your availability prior to confirming the appointment time. If you cannot make it to your scheduled appointment then you will forfeit your deposit. Complimentary touch up sessions will be void.

 

Punctuality

Please respect everyone’s time by arriving on time to your appointment on time. If you are early, please come in at the appointment time and not beforehand. If you are late by more than 15 minutes or do not show up, we reserve the right to refuse service and you will forfeit your deposit. 

 

Touch Up Appointment

Complimentary Touch Up

Your complimentary touch up appointment is included in the price you paid. It is your responsibility to book your touch up appointment. Please contact us directly to book an appointment 6-8 weeks from your initial session. 

 

No show or cancellation within 48 hours will result a service fee of $50 + HST for rebooking the Touch Up.

 

Previously Permanent or Semi-permanent Eyebrows/Eyeliner

If your eyebrows or eyeliner were previously tattooed, it is considered to be Corrective or Cover up work. Please note that not all old eyebrow or eyeliner tattoos are workable. Prior to appointment booking, please contact  us your current brow or liner photos to for review. Photos must be clear and taken during daylight. 


Post appointment after-care

Please read the after-care we provide you carefully, and use our after-care package as needed. The post appointment after-care is a very important part of your healing process, if to followed carefully, you may need additional touch-up session (additional fees apply).
